All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

There's a bit about Tim's pitch here.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The Recapper Tubeys are up, and The Inside "wins" something!

Best Justification For Leatherface
If the show had survived long enough to feature a serial killer who sought out self-righteous busybodies, Paul Ryan of The Inside would have been hanging on a meat-hook. -- Strega

I was tempted to do something about "The Perfect Couple," but since it didn't air, hating Paul won out.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Aw. Paul = Tim. You like Tim, right?

Strega - Aug 11, 2006 3:13:40 pm PDT #690 of 10001

Of course. But no matter how many times you say he's Paul, I think Tim knows what personal boundaries are.

The fact that I identified pretty strongly with Rebecca's lack of social skills may be a factor.

Well, he does have a moat. And there's the whole turret thing.

So he at least gets his own personal boundaries.

Trust my rage

I really liked Paul. I thought he was the most normal of the bunch. I wonder what that says about me.

My favorites were Rebecca and Web. I like the dark.

Hey. New board.

Rebecca owns me.

Signed,
Despite having *ahemmed* all of the unaired-in-the-US inside, I haven't watched it because I know it will fuck me up like whoa and want to be free enough to enjoy it. Next week, maybe. GOD I wish that show had survived.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I liked Rebecca and Web right from the start, but the full-blown Katie Finneran love kicked in during "Everything Nice" for me.
