Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I guess Drive really does qualify for the 'circus' part of the equation, especially given the historical context of the phrase.

What is even happening?

Yeah, what's up with you people with limited outrage? Heck, I'm medicated, and I can still always make more.

The evil is this way?

You're special. The rest of us are jaded, bitter, and tapped out (of outrage). Well, except for the guy who has apparently decided that "un-canceling" the show is a workable goal.

The funniest comment I've seen came from someone wanting to get all the Sanjaya voters from AI to go and sign one of the petitions.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Okay, that made me laugh out loud.

I got banned from FOX's forums for saying Stand Off is canceled, so can't view the carnage that must be the Drive forums. Which is probably for the best.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm know this is late, but I've been mostly without internet access since I heard the news. I'm so bummed. My sympathies to Tim and Kristen and the others directly involved with the show. I totally get your point, Corwood, and agree. And I'm not really outraged. But I really liked this tv show. I thought it was intelligently written, and well acted. It captured my interest and my emotions. And I wish it weren't gone.

I probably never would have watched this show if it weren't for Tim (and Kristen). The premise didn't make a lot of sense to me, and I saw the Cannonball Run comparison one too many times. However, I'll give just about anything Tim writes at least a try. It was ok after the first hour, good enough to keep watching. After the second, I liked it. Monday, I liked it a lot. And the following Monday, I loved the show, probably more than any other show since Firefly.

With the poor ratings, I saw the writing on the wall, but I am really, really bummed that they didn't at least make it through shooting so we would at least have a hope of DVDs. There doesn't seem to be much of a point now, without an arc. I mean, I would buy them, but I don't imagine enough would.

I have hybrid drive outrage, whenever I try to slow down it generates more power from the reciprocal rant drive.

I find I have a bottomless well of outrage.

Ditto. It's the gift that keeps on giving (me high blood pressure).

Someone was saying something about 30-second skip, and if you think you don't have it on your TiVo, you totally do. (My major assigned domestic chore at Casa Jengod is reprogramming this into my husband's TiVo remote every time the power goes out.)

Stop making fun of me, Denise.
