The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Really? It's listed as the last one on the script at TimMinear.net.

That's Leigh's response to "Where Lee surrendered," right? It may be the last line in the script, but in the episode, that scene comes earlier. The last line is...something about Tully saving Sean's life.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Everything about Drive did scream fall show. But hey, spilled milk.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe I can make a popup book with what is supposed to happen next, Tim.

Just in case you weren't entirely kidding, I would be all over that.

Art Crawl!!!

The pop up book of Drive can be your follow up to the Vampire People book!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Fox's website now says 'Look out for the final two episodes this summer'.

And I could recap the pop-up book!

"Is it just me, or do the characters seem two-dimensional? So I pull the tab, and the car tumbles down a cliff. Which would have been cool if it hadn't been totally obvious that would happen. I mean, hello, I can see the little slot cut in the paper! Way to telegraph things, Allyson."

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Bollocks. I'm sorry to hear the news, Tim. It looked like it had a lot of promise, and you'd already delivered on a couple of HSQ moments.

Such a shame, that you and Kristen and all the rest of the talent can pour so much energy into a show and not have the chance to even begin to tell the story.

I know enough about how television works to be unsurprised--neither FOX nor anyone else at the networks gives a good goddamn about dedicated fans, they just want lots and lots of eyeballs, and if they can't deliver them, they owe money back to the advertisers. Which is why they pulled it so fast--they lose less if they can get better ratings with a repeat of House.

Good luck on your next project, Tim.

Ugh. Yeah, when I see them I'll believe it. Two lonely episodes to burn off. Even if it is May sweeps, how are House re-runs really that much better.

(cause they get better ratings, stupid)

But why would they show them in the summer when everyone's forgotten about them then?

....

And seriously, this time I can blame FOX only for pulling the plug too soon, but not for not giving the show a balls-out, full-scale launch.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

During the summer, they've got nothing else to air?

Personally, I think they'll go on FOX's Myspace. What they should do, in my humble opinion, is put them on iTunes exclusively, and charge a dollar a piece. People would buy them. People would make money. But maybe that's insaneo logic.
