I'm trying to think how they pitched this.
"It's House, plus the X-Files, plus 7th Heaven!"
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I emailed my doctor friend about Witch Doctor and she is a leeetle excited about it:
that is fuckin' awesome! That should be the show's motto: "Witch Doctor: It's fuckin' awesome!" Seriously though - fuckin' awesome!!!
(she actually stole the motto from an idea I presented to our mayor at a bar a couple of years ago: "Baltimore--It's Fucking Awesome". They decided to pay some "consultant" 1/2 a million dollars to come up with "Baltimore--Get in on it". I'm a little bitter.)
Regardless of what the show's like, they already have a tailor-made catchy theme song!
I'm gonna be so disappointed now if they don't use the Chipmunks for their theme song.
You mean:
Oooo, eeee, oooo, ah ah! Ying yang, walla walla bing bang!
Nah, it just needs to be playing in the car the first time the title character drives anywhere.
That should be the show's motto: "Witch Doctor: It's fuckin' awesome!"
I can see the promos now.
In unrelated news, I am watching an episode of Third Watch, where they're in Greenpoint and they're reporting shots fired at "11th and Greenpoint, by the river." Which may have led me to yell at the television. I think I scared my neighbors, who were out by the pool.
That should be the show's motto: "Witch Doctor: It's fuckin' awesome!"

if it were on Adult swim, it might actually happen.
