The evil truck driving dude is a LEEEEETLE hard to swallow timing wise. But LOVED IT!!
The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I barely noticed the first hour pass, it was that engrossing. Love Melanie Lanskey. I want to see Violet outdrive her father. There's a lot going on here, but not so much you can't follow all the characters. NF is hot when he's all stubbly, well, hott-er.
aargh my friend is trying to call to talk about the show and my phone's acting all wonky
ha! Her message says she's "addicted to the show" and has an appt tomorrow and needs me to tape it for her.
that 2nd hour flew by
One thing I'm noticing is this: trucker dude. coffee woman. They're 'randomly' appearing to help/hinder people, and I'm thinkin' it's not random.
I'm thinking that too.
That was an intense and fast two hours. I can't wait 'til tomorrow! I think 24 is going to be relaxing after this.
Again! Again! That was fun. It's good to have new Tim shows on TV.
For what it's worth, the Orlando Sentinel's reviewer didn't pick up on the mountains thing, and he seemed to be looking for things to complain about.
A small touch, but I like how Tully's beard has grown like he's actually not shaved for three days.
I love the Mom, whatever her name is.
Addictive is right.
I'm thinkin' it's not random
I don't know if it's random or the evil overlords' plan.
Wait, where was Cindy Williams? I saw her name in the credits but I missed her.
She was the woman who is taking care of the baby.
Those two hours went by way too quick! I want tomorrow's episode now.
So - who can name the direct connection between TV's Hit DRIVE and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (and no, Tim's "amazing" Buffy episodes don't count)?
