If the show isn't canceled while it's in the middle of being aired, well, then, hopefully in a future episode everyone in the race will die.
Dammit, how'd he sneak a peek at the script for the first show of season two?
He has a time machine?
I'm thinking that road snacks would be appropriate food to have for the premiere of drive: corn nuts, beef jerky, cheese curds - that sort of thing.
Roads snacks? You mean cigarettes and coffee.
That's what I'm having right now AIFG.
Isn't that what teevee writers subsist on? Especially the night of the show premier?
The writing staff of TV's hit DRIVE is light on smokers. I think we're a dying (HA!) breed.

Some of us will be swapping out the coffee for alcohol in about three hours.
Good luck to all involved. I wish you all alcohol, fags, or whatever else tickles your fancy.
Drive Fans is being freakin' hammered from Google.

Are you and Tim having to smoke extra, to make up the difference?
Kristen, are you all butterflies, today? I was thinking about you earlier and thinking I'd be fighting off nerve-induced oogy feelings, all day long.
The more reviews I read, the more everybody seems unduly hung up on the premise. Was only sending out the first hour a mistake or something, because nothing about the premise pings me to the degree that the critics are making of it. Is it serial-drama burnout, given all the shows that tried for it this year and tanked? I'm seriously confuzzled.

Whatev, I got new Tim-may drama to watch in just under an hour!!! Whoot!!!
The 2nd hour answers many of the questions posed by the reviews I've seen. It's a shame, but if it wasn't ready, it wasn't ready.
I completely agree the reviewers are hung up on the premise, though, and still maintain it's one of the reasons why I'm excited about the show. It's not going to replace BTVS for me: but it is so wide and with so much going on, there's a lot to love. I think a critics job in many ways is to spot flaws, and seems so simple to suggest this won't run for 11 years as a single road race. Have a cookie, I say, and tell me if the episode is any good.
