Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Looks like the segment reruns at 9:30

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

My only thing is that all these reviews keep saying it's an outlandish premise. Aren't a lot of shows like that? My Name is Earl is kinda an outlandish premise. Lost? 24? Numb3rs? Dude. Buffy? I'd just think that wouldn't even merit a mention.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I know, Daisy! It's kind of pissing me off, honestly. IT'S COOL. SHUT UP AND WATCH IT.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think it's not that the premise seems outlandish, but that it seems unsustainable beyond a single season -- once the race has been run, then what? But then, like you said, look at Lost and 24, which had the exact same issues when they began. (Or Prison Break - is that still on?)

Art Crawl!!!

It's still on and has been renewed for season 3.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think it's just the last review's headline struck me weird. Who cares about the premise? If it's executed with panache or whatever, then yay! I could have the best premise ever (and I think I do somewhere kicking around in my head). If I pull it off poorly, it's a bad show (or book, or comic or whatever).

Aren't a lot of shows like that?

LOL. I was just complaining about how people are battling with "Others" while stranded on an island on ABC; whispering with ghosts and struggling in a post-nuclear world on CBS; flying and jumping ahead in time on NBC; driving around the country, fighting ghosts and ghouls on the CW; and seeing the future on USA. Come on now.

Yahoo TV's offering up the first 4 minutes, 38 seconds. Dunno where you should go if you watch it and talk about it, but there you go!

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

It's still on and has been renewed for season 3.

And I actually think they've done a pretty good job of making the plotline sustainable. At least so far.
