I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

My girlfriend's just been complaining as she can't go on to bitch about Jericho.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

When I am drunk, I try to tell everyone they should watch Drive and read Allyson's book.

What is even happening?

When I'm drunk, I try to tell everyone I wrote Drive and Allyson's book.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Have confirmed with CTV that it's 2 hour premiere this Friday, then episode 3 the following Friday. So they'll be 2 days ahead, then 5 days behind the following week.

Edit: also, they may end up hiatusing it then returning it before FOX. Although an email monkey said that.

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH is on the TV's Hit Drive Love Train. Watching a promo tonight:

DH: "Hey, it's your boy*--what's his name?"
Me: "Nathan Fillion."
DH: "Yeah--it's that new show. Drive."
Me: "Yeah, I know. Tim Minear's new show."
DH: "Nathan's a great actor. I like him. Damn. Firefly was such a great show."
Me: "I know."

  • please note--he's not MY boy. DH just refers to anyone he's seen in Buffy or Angel as "my boy" or "my girl."

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Reuters have put out an article about 'Drive' and 'Traveler' which Washington Post have picked up: [link]

I wondered what had happened to Traveler. The pilot was neat-oh.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What's Traveler?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

It's due to start in May, Zenkitty. It's a show about people who, er, travel. Except it's better than I make it sound.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

As far as I remember, it is about people who travel and then become suspects in a terrorist bombing of some sort. I heard good things about the pilot, but it was one of those high-concept shows that sounded more like a miniseries.
