In MediaWeek, FOX's VP of Programming talks about Drive's scheduling: "Our hope is that it’s the kind of show, like 24 and Prison Break, that if you get people deep into it fast, you’ll hook them quicker than doing it one hour at a time".
Ironic in light of the fact that they only sent the first hour of the (three-hour) pilot out to the press. Gotta love that amazing inter-departmental communication going on at Fox!
They're going to hook the critics one hour at a time. The general public gets special treatment!
Nevermind II: The Edit Strikes Back.
That's just...bizarre. But cool?
Assuming it's not a joke -- I wouldn't have thought it is -- it's quite cool. Although you just know there's going to be several hundred Firefly fans blocking the road for a few hours (which, if it happened, would be publicity of some sort I'd imagine).
"OMG! Nathan Fillion! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...gee."
That's like two days before I arrive in LA. I'm gonna miss out on the crazy.
I'm sure there will be photos. And videos. Or Vlogs, or whatever they're called.
