[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I just hope that they stop using so many pages to recap a show.

What I never understood about that is that they say they sell advertising based on page views, but I swear 99% of their ads are for themselves. How exactly does that make them money?

Punishingly Intricate

haha! whereas I actually like the multi-page thing because I often read recaps in spurts interrupted by my, you know, real job/life etc. and it's easier to keep track of where I left off.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, Yahoo bought them a...year ago, maybe?

And they recently started pulling quotes from the forums and pasting them on Yahoo!TV, which was really annoying because they pulled from Meet Markets and spoiler threads, too.

I just hope that they stop using so many pages to recap a show.

I was about to say that they did that to increase pageloads, but maybe they won't need to increase ad revenue so much now? They did add the pagelinks recently, at least.

There's a thread in the Nuts and Bolts forum to explain how the Bravo thing will affect TWOP. I haven't gotten too far into it, but the Yahoo thing was apparently a partnership that ran its course.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

All I wanna know is, does Strega get a raise? Because my birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The following quote from Glark does make Drive recapping seem related:

Just to temper expectations, beyond adding a few new shows soon (The Wire, Men in Trees, Brothers and Sisters and Drive) it's going to be status quo for a while. I think a lot of the new stuff will be worked on after the TV season is done.

I'm praying that the new owners don't inflict their website's design on TwoP. The forums may be offline one try out of three, but they don't actively sear my retinas when the pages load. Bravotv.com is hideous.

The design won't change. That is, it won't change to Bravo style, at least.

This was also my first thought!

I want "a tiny little division of GE" to be our new motto. That said:

Yahoo! did not own the site. And yeah, I was set to recap Drive back before it was definitely going to air.

Fametracker was started by someone I know.

You know Adam? Craziness.
