Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

'Selfless'

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

That was a great promo.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I did the lame report on the Drive panel.

I think I was mostly too nervous about the whole self-promotion thing to really observe.

Aw, I got mentioned despite not being there or having anything to do with anything. Awesome! But you had a chance to slap Skeet, and you didn't. Not awesome!

Hm. "Slap Skeet" sounds like it's some slang term. "You kids better not be skeet-slapping down there!"

I'm a little sleepy. And a lot bored.

But then they would have tossed me out of the Drive panel.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The episode of Jericho they showed was surprisingly good in comparison to the crap I quit after.

But Skeet was really shady with his damn hat covering half his face. Who knew what sort of eyes he was making at everyone?

Art Crawl!!!

Jericho came back from hiatus different.

That's what I heard! Heh.

But it looks like it came back right instead of wrong.

All my suspension of disbelief was spent on the nuclear fallout thing without hairloss.

I SAW THE DAY AFTER AND EVERYONE SHOULD BE BALD AND TOOTHLESS.

I can't gives em no more disbelief suspension.

Well, Gerald McRaney seems in on the joke, which helps. And I obviously support Dale and Skylar taking over the town. But it still seems to be a story about how some people are just too dumb to die.

Maybe that's why it's set in Kansas. It's a final repudiation of Darwinism.

Strega - Mar 07, 2007 8:41:02 am PST #4494 of 10001

Oh, but there was no fallout in Jericho (the town, I mean). Except for sometimes when they acted like there was, even though they'd stressed that there wasn't.
