Those are also on the official site. If you haven't been yet, the official site contains all the character promos shot -- Wendy, Rob and Ellie, the three Katrina heroes (Ivy, Leigh, Susan), Alex and Winston -- as well as the same vid as the first link Kevin posted.
Now that I'm back from concentrating on some health issues and digging out from our second freakish blizzard in two weeks, I'll be updating DriveTheRace.com with other things.
Please tell me that somewhere there is a copy of the first video that appeared on the Fox Drive site. It was the best thing ever. Especially for the Tim grin at the end.
As far as I know, not so much Simon. Which is annoying. What happened on the original video?
It had Tim and Ben talking about the show and then at the end Tim grinned as he said "Only on Fox". Or something like that. But it was fab. And then it disappeared after about a day.
The going theory was Fox may not have realized how popular the site and video would be in such a short period of time, and pulled it.
Here's hoping it returns at some point.
Hey, Jackal -- so am I correct in assuming this new Drive Fans blog at Wordpress is not you? I'm trying to get the new lay of the land upon my return and was slightly confused.
Not me. It's run by some guy who spammed our site to plug his Drive board and then created a news blog with our site's name and news mostly culled from our site. Not that I'm bitter or grudge-holding.
OK, see, yeah, I totally don't get that. Maybe it's the journalism background, maybe it's the fact that I have pride, or whatnot, but, frankly, if you don't have new things to add to the discussion, what's the point in having a site that's full of content ripped off from others?
Not that I'm speaking from very bitter experience or whatnot. After finding two official sites for other actors completely ripping off old layouts, coding, and wording from NB.com. Not at all.
I will say the part where he rips off the name of your site, though, is a new show of ballsy.
ETA: Dude! And I just noticed that he edited Drive's Wikipedia page to remove the link to your old Blogspot site and redirect "Drive News Blog" to his Wordpress site. Damn.
Won't be petty and retaliate. Won't be petty and retaliate. Won't be petty and retaliate.
Dude, swapping out the URL but leaving the title is just nasty and low. Especially after he already got his hand slapped on the discussion page for the Wikipedia page for TV's hit Drive.
Who is this person? Do we know, or did they just show up one day?
Someone who aptly calls himself Error. Haven't seen him around before about a week ago.
Totally changing the link back. And then I'm taking a big step back.
