LA strikes me as an excellent city to visit and get some while doing so. Though the 85° in February always-rainy (at least when I'm there) weather is a high price to pay.

Bear in mind I'd rather have -24C weather in February than a temperature I associate with swimsuits and pools. I shouldn't break a sweat taking a leisurely walk in the middle of winter while wearing a T-shirt and shorts!

I did rather enjoy the alien (to me) weather of the PBPs in LA. There was such a sense of dislocation, wandering around in a t-shirt while the reptile brain was screaming "Warning, exposed flesh will freeze in 45 seconds!"
