Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

one of them is the warehouse thing with cameras where the characters come in and "sell" themselves to the race. That doesn't happen in the show, but we thought it would work in terms of giving a sense of who the characters were.

I'm glad to hear that. It's a good idea for a promo, but I wouldn't have liked it in the show. I was surprised to see so much "behind the scenes"-type scenes in the promo because I thought a lot of the strength of the pilot (that I read, I don't know how much has changed) was that you don't get to see behind the scenes, you're just as in the dark as the characters. That's why I preferred the first hyperkinetic one.

Also, I really love the final scene with the woman aiming a gun in the mirror. I can't tell who it is, but I love the way she moves. It's way cool.

They are using some material from the show itself (as it becomes available to them) and intercutting it with the shot-for-promo stuff.

Did you see that they added more footage to the promo between Tuesday's airing and Wednesday's airing?

Today, on TV's hit Drive, was an exciting day. We had macaroni and cheese at lunch. It was awesome.

oooohhh! macaroni and cheese! was it yellow in hue or white?

I ask only because one color would be HUGELY distressing for folks like Polgara.

Oh! Do you think maybe tomorrow there'll be grilled cheese?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I heard there was going to be tomato soup AND cupcakes.

Kat, it was a pale yellow. And it was yummy.

Tomorrow, I think we're ordering in. Which makes it more difficult to have happy surprises, like unexpected mac n' cheese.

I wish I worked somewhere where the food surprise is a pleasant one and not, say, mystery grey gelatinous meat by-products.

Honestly? Lunch spoilers totally ROCK! Keep 'em coming!

Also, CUPCAKES! that would totally rock. Sigh. What will my lunch be tomorrow. Also, is there something fundamentally wrong that I'm thinking about tomorrow's lunch right now when I just finished barbeque with Robin, her DH, lori and our special guest star, meara ?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Call me if you are having roast beef again, because, dude, it was so yummy.

See. That's just not right, yo! Allyson and Strega get all the fun and what do I get? Preggo clothes and a nap.

Oh yeah, last week I sent over homemade chocolate chip pecan cookies, to TV's hit Drive, and if I procrastinate this weekend, I might send raspberry thumbprint butter cookies.

I wonder if we bring some red velvet cupcakes and maybe the faux hostess ones if they'll let us hang out on couches and watch dailies and tell them how to do their jobs.
