You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

"Hot Rod Lincoln" for the prequel which takes place in the '50s.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

I suppose Cars by Gary Numan would be too cliche? Although, he already does a industrial/goth/metal version nowadays, which'd go down well.

eta: Alternatively, how about a goth/industrial/metal version of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

Hi Tim

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hey Tim!

Writers block? Or just feeling sociable?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

And look no further than all the wet men for a photo of our Alex.

Cracks me up.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

I was trying to remember where I'd seen Sergei before, and thanks to ImDb, it was on Crossing Jordan.

eta: oh, and also in the movie Star Command, which is actually quite good. It's been a while since I saw it on video but I do seem to recall it had a similar concept to Firefly, in that there were no "bumpy-head" aliens. The good guys were Earthlings, and the villians were humans who had colonised another planet a few generations earlier.
