This would, of course, cost a lot of money
Probably too early to ask for a raise.
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I'd just like my credit card bill paid off so I can start saving to buy something. I wonder if I routed my bill to Tim's if he would just pay it without noticing.
Is that the same as stealing? Do I need to draw up a proposal like Kat's Twin Sponsorship Program?

Well, I can't say that I'm feeling particularly underpaid anyway. I'm just trying to hold off on (any more) major renovations until I've paid down the debt I incurred with my year of part-time employment.
My mom has a washer/dryer combo where stuff gets washed, then gets dried IN THE SAME PLACE. I'm not talking stackables. It's also pretty small, so it won't take a big load, but it will fit almost anywhere.
She doesn't like it all that much because the dryer part really won't take big loads, and she doesn't like doing lots of little loads, but she says it does a fine job, and I can add that it's so quiet that she can have singalongs right next to the machine and folks can hardly tell it's running.
That said, I think it's European, and the money you save in remodeling would probably be eaten up by the machine itself, so nebbermind.
I've considered that one! Or one of them. What I end up going with, someday, will depend on how much space I can eek out and what the feed/vent issues are.
When you get to that point, if you have any questions about how my mom's works in real life, which has not been quite the same as the salespeople said it would, just ask. It's kinda cute.
The LG combo machines (which are the most common - maybe only - brand in the States) have electric condensation dryers. That said, IME, they generally suck at drying things, and are about the same price as buying two separate machines.
Yes, but LG also makes a refrigerator with INTERNET ACCESS, so they are forgiven for sucky drying.
I think that meara has one, and she always complains that it takes forever to dry.
I'm starting to get this thread confused with the tech thread.
