Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

nebermind. I'm sometimes not as funny as I think. Hm.

I'm about 1000 posts behind in Natter so I'm just gonna keep posting random things here until I get home.

Allyson: The book you want is World War Z, by Max Brooks. I missed your call because I was tagging along on an epic quest for a rental car. But it came with free bananas. It would make a fabulous episode of TV's hit Drive. Maybe directed by David Lynch. Oh, and then we watched TV's Angel. Daniel thought Cordelia was a lot like someone we're working with, so he doesn't like her very much.

Tonight we're going to Mickey's! Yay!

Seriously: please send a strike team to rescue us. Ten more days...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Max Brooks

Is this the guy who wrote Jennifer Government?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Interesting. Netflix already has the first season of Drive available to save for when it comes out.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I have added it to my queue in position 414.

Laga, that's funny - it's number 414 in my queue too.

Art Crawl!!!

How did you get it to add to your queue? Netflix would only add it to the "saved" section of my queue since it doesn't have a release date rather than to the queue itself.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I was counting it as if it had a number.

Yeah. It brought my total to 414.

Art Crawl!!!

Ah. In which case it would be 478 in my queue but my total is 498. (The saved section is listed alphabetically and I have quite a few things "saved" that Netflix may never actually acquire.)
