Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I told a soon-to-be-former coworker about Tim's new show. Her eyes lit up thiiiiiis much when she heard Nathan and Amy were going to be on the show. I think we have a convert.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Fun thing: I was able to introduce Strega by, "(Real name) is the Drive recapper for TWoP."

Oh thank God—at least one show I'm interested in won't be recapped by Jacob!

What is even happening?

I've managed to convince my mom and brother to watch this. Which is something, since I can't explain a tv show to save my life. Seriously, you don't want me doing the explaining. I am the anti-Kristen, Allyson, Tim. Now if only mom could get FOX....
Have you tried using various sparkly boy bands vocal groups?

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

Wrongda's all over the Drive panel at the TCA.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

20 bucks says that's the dread pirate wanda...our own jengod.

The beagles remark makes me think Allyson is correct.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

"To his credit, Tim Minear is the Rocky Balboa of Fox show producers" -- FOX President.

ETA: Jackal has the promo images on DriveFans.com under Image Gallery. They sweet.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ayup.

Further?

Esoteric scheduling info: Baseball playoffs schedule rejiggering means only 14 preemptions next fall instead of 26.

Yay.

I can't even.

"To his credit, Tim Minear is the Rocky Balboa of Fox show producers" -- FOX President.

"Cut me, Mick, cut me." Great line, and so appropriate for the bloodied but unbowed (but *fabulously* wealthy) Tim. I had just described Tim to a friend as having the rock'em-sock'em robots development deal. My friend said "maybe after this, he'll be able to go to a network where they'll, y'know, air his show. All of it, I mean."

Pfft, I said, knowingly. It's all about the dvd promos.

To be fair to the originating source, TheTVAddict.com seems to have gotten the scoop, yes?

Sorry if that comes off wrong. Just, as a journalist and a webmaster who's been reposted in full across the net many times, I like to give big love to the originating sources. I've still got love for Jackal, though. Don't get me wrong.
