[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Punishingly Intricate

I love that spelling, Kat.

Me too. That's how my Aunt Sis spelled her name. But then everybody called her "Sis" (she had 4 brothers). I had 3 great-aunts with that name, all spelled differently.

Am also verrrry excited about the Amy Acker news!!!!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I love that spelling, Kat.

It's the spelling for the only girl I ever kinda sorta asked out over e-mail by making a Simpsons reference and didn't get a response from for over three days so I caught up with her in person and discovered that she "couldn't" have coffee with me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey, a multi-pronged shoutout.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

What is even happening?

It's the spelling for the only girl I ever kinda sorta asked out over e-mail by making a Simpsons reference and didn't get a response from for over three days so I caught up with her in person and discovered that she "couldn't" have coffee with me.

This makes me want to quote Willow at e-mail girl:

It's the non-relationship drink of choice. It's not a date, it's a caffeinated beverage. Okay, sure, it's hot and bitter like a relationship that way, but...
Or maybe:
And you! I mean, you're gonna live forever! You don't have time for a cup of coffee?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This means we'll get to see Nathan Fillion kissing Amy Acker at least once, right? aaaahhhhhhh

Isn't the rogue landscaper the one who is in the race because his wife was abducted? I think we'll see lots of longing.

But there could be kissing in flashbacks. Nathan likes to be in flashbacks, these days.

Out of Gas gave him good flashback training.

And his Lost appearance(s?).

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, no, that's right. Okay, better give her some agency, then, because I don't want my Amy Acker to be a pining damsel in distress.
