We're not seeing Kristen again until summer, are we? Yikes.
The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
So, is this false?
I'm presuming not.
Assuming it's accurate, is this a good slot?
My verdict: yes. It shows network confidence. It's also against CSI and Gregs, which are the two biggest dramas on TV right now. Drive can't afford a massive drop from 30 million viewers, so it's going to either make or break the show I think. It's ballsey.
Thursday at 9pm? Gulp? Am I wrong in thinking that is considered the most competitive slot in TV?
Tamara: you are correct. CSI and Greys are huge. However, a 30 odd million lead in is good. I don't know if there's an example of it working before for FOX, though.
I think it worked for House two years ago.
Previous examples also include Stacked and That 70s Show at that timeslot on March 1st.
It's the old The OC timeslot. So Drive killed The OC. Okay, it didn't actually, but in my head Tim killed The OC, and now the world is a more just place.

We'll be seeing her often as we deliver oxygen to her office at 3am.
But hey! Her boss is a close personal friend of mine. I think i can probably get her a day off. If she wants one. I think she loves her job more than us, now.
Now, if Tim had to kill The OC, what was wrong with last year? This year it's fun.
I think she loves her job more than us, now.
I love her job more than us.
Look at it this way: it frees up Ben McKenzie for guest spots should Alex need a little brother.
Too little, too late ita. Well, in terms of audience share.
I bored myself typing that.
The Futon Critic needs to hurry up and confirm this.
