Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Heck, Nilly, just "listening" to you talk about Firefly makes me fall in love with it all over again. I wish I could watch it through your eyes, I see so much more of it when you talk about it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Nilly darling, all the hair on the back of my neck stood up just reading your description of Mal's face in that scene. I never lost my Firefly love, but you bring it roaring back to full strength.

What is even happening?

Yep.

I'd say that's what Nillies do best, but our Nilly (the one, true Nilly) does everything best, I think.

The wonderful thing about Nillies
is that Nillies are wonderful things...

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I managed to have a whole post about "Firefly" and Mal without mentioning "Out of Gas" even once.

Except for that part right there at the end.

If I only had a brain...

Speaking of Greenwalt/Minear convergences (we were, sorta), I was watching Heroes and going Ooh! Adrian Pasdar! Ooh! Bryan Fuller wrote this episode! WOWWWWW!

And it was fabulous. And then I felt sad about all the other great shows those people had worked on. And then I felt happy about this great show. And then I was all conflicted.

But yea Kristin and Tim and getting to work on new great shows.

I really want Nilly to see HEROES, quite honestly. I'm curious to hear her thoughts.

The evil is this way?

In related news, I got my rejection letter from Disney in the mail today. They wished me luck in my future endeavors. Should I reply with a picture of my parking space?

You should have that on your website.

By the by, I have not been by in quite a while and missed the announcement of your success. Congratulations. I'm not sure how I missed the warning signs that must have happened once you and Tim Minear started working together. All that evility in one place. You think there would have at least been a rain of toads or something.

I bought a Season Pass on iTunes and rewatched the first 11 episodes this weekend.
