[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Now you're just pandering to the fanbase.

If you have a Nielsen box, we can pander more specifically.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She said we!

Sorry.

Medication.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Why in god's name do I like Firefly so much?

For a while I thought I loved Firefly because it was one of the first shows that I saw straight through, on DVD. I thought that if I watched other shows straight through in a similar fashion, I might love them as much. Nope. I like other shows. Some of them I like very much. But Firefly remains my one. true. show.

I'm open to the possibility of Drive joining it.

I think my adoration of Wonderfalls is more sensical

I do, too! Heh.

I'm taking Wonderfalls to the Ginormous Training Of Doom because I want to show it to a couple of friends from work.

...Well, I'm also bringing Profit. But I think Wonderfalls will be a slightly easier sell.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Allyson, I've pre-ordered your book. Now you have to finish editing it. No pressure or anything.

If I only had a brain...

My medication is newer than your medication, ita. Then again, your medication is known as the "crown of thorns", so you totally win.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think I like Firefly so much because it's the first SF TV show that reflects my idea of what the future holds for the human race. I about peed my pants when Simon said, "yep, it's a cow fetus" confirming my suspicions that there are no aliens. Plus Han Solo = teh yum and Cap'n Tight Pants is the closest approximation of Han since the real thing.

Wonderfalls is great (imo) because the characters (even the inanimate ones) are so fully realized. Plus I'm a sucker for the reluctant hero, especially when she's a chick.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I am home! Must play with nephew.

Also, Tim, insent. This computer is weird.

Trying to get a 24 script for my dad who is apparently a big honkin' fan. Forgot to bring Drive for him to watch, so, um, if I knew someone who worked on the show who would send me one because I'm an honorary member of Happy Fun Drive Club...

Yeah.

Heh.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Let's talk about Harold Bloom.

Let's not. I always get into trouble when I talk about Harold Bloom.
