Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Great news! Even if I didn't read it here.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That would be wonderful news, if I had heard anything about it.

Thank you, thank you! Also, regarding the landing, I'd probably say that the agent in question landed on me. As in, fell into my lap without me actually having to do anything. Which is awesome and quite funny.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What is even happening?

Kristen, I don't think you have to spoiler font your own good news. I mean, this is a NAFDA thread.

Congratulations, best wishes, and all good things to you!

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Congrats Kristen!

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

(Belated) congrats, Kristen!
