That was part of my conflict. I kinda wanted Blade to go away so I could have the Everyone Else Show.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I remember watching Blade's fight scenes in the pilot and thinking "maybe Sarah Michelle Gellar's punches weren't THAT bad after all..."

What is even happening?

Don't take this the wrong way but...please, god, I sure hope not.

No. You'll have hit it big, and have a Jane Espensonesque blog, where you'll help aspirees (is too a word) on their journey. It'll be a thing. And we'll have a Mistverse thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I actually didn't have a problem with the fight work on the series. It wasn't anything special (though the axe kick knocking the axe into the vamp's leg in the pilot was actually pretty cool) but it was no SMG throwing punches in slow-mo either.

That said, I agree that the other characters on the show were a lot more interesting than Blade. I'd love to see a Krista and Shen (they fight crime!) show.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Krista was hot.

The thing about life is :You can rehearse it all you want, But nobody else ever sticks to the script. So why bother?

  • peeks in to say thanks to Kirsten for the program link* Good luck in case you enter! ;-)

As for Blade I did hear that it was bad and after hearing from some friends how bad I even didn´t dare to watch it. We have enough bad TV here already so I don´t have to *ahem* bad TV ...

The show itself was actually fun, and got better and better as the series progressed. It was pretty much Blade himself that all the badness was concentrated in.

Happy to share, Kessie!

The show itself was actually fun, and got better and better as the series progressed.

I would have liked to see The Adventures of Chase & Krista as a weekly series. That would have been Must See TV.

On another note, I never realized just how loud a wood chipper is. I mean, someone could go deaf here.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Folks, does anybody know if there's a website that lets me track ratings for TV shows over the past months & years, ideally both in the US and worldwide? I'm looking to graph them & compare with other shows, plus worldwide shares etc.

Cheers

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

The only one I know of is subscription based. And I assume expensive.
