Wash: You want a slinky dress? I can buy you a slinky dress. Captain, can I have money for a slinky dress? Jayne: I'll chip in. Zoe: I can hurt you.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's very exciting! Not your apparent sickly apprearance or advanced age, the other thing.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Can we have new photos done, now?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Tim - true, this: I think you and Joss are looking gaunt recently. That's a back handed compliment, also.

I am actually very excited about Drive getting picked up. I know. I know. Geek. But, seriously. Is it next year yet?

"Don' be e-scared"

You needn't have added the "likely," Kevin. Network called. Studio called. It's all true.

Okay, will fix. I'm just cautious. And - frankly - drunk and at 2am and panicking about getting up for work.

"Don' be e-scared"

By the way, the network is totally behind this. The enthusiasm and support has been hard and long term. From the studio as well. The true believers never gave up and that's why we went from a soft "pass" to a starting pistol.

Great to hear, Tim. Frankly, I was talking about this earlier to somebody -- in fact, whining, and said "This is the best Tim Minear pilot in terms of commercial success".

I stand behind that.

I run a viral marketing company, but I gotta seperate out and say there's a lot of ways to run with this. There's a very broad demographic here, and I'm *NOT* thinking "how do they appeal to people here?", which I was with Wonderfalls.

He doesn't look gaunt. He's lovely. Shut up.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Congratulations!

Okay, I'll back down that on that point. But Joss looks gaunt. I'd feed him pies.
