I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What is even happening?

Simon, thanks so much for that link. I'd known Bryan was working on Heroes, but forgot all about it. I've got a little bit of my WF bitterness back, though. Darn it. I loved that show beyond reason.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

There's a new interview out with Bryan Fuller. Amongst things, he talks about the network interference on Wonderfalls and how seasons 2 and 3 would have developed.

Warning, there's some spoilery pictures for Heroes in that article.

BTW, whoever said graphic short story (I refuse to call something with the same number of square inches the Sunday Non Sequiter has a novel) is spoilery is right. I mean totally changes your view of - well never mind who. Not the sort of thing that should be in an "extra" IMO. If it is canon (and I'm still not sure these comics are) than it totally impacts the storyline.

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Happy Birthday Tim!

May your day be filled with well-written characters from whom you may choose the most compelling death.
