There's something about a food that moves all by itself that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Home or email?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Home, of course.

Every so often somebody sends mail to the Goners site addressed to Joss. Some of it worries me, although most is kind hearted.

I skimmed and then I realized I just didn't care.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Another funny. I'm watching Hell's Kitchen (FOX). It drove me to Wikipedia.

Joss just posted on whedonesque singing Drive's praises

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Awesome! I really hope it makes it on the schedule. I honestly think it could be a hit. Finally.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Based on a novel, the new show, Dexter, takes The Inside episode, "Prefiler" to a whole new level. The lead character, "Dexter", is a serial killer who satiates his homicidal impulses by murdering people who have thus far escaped justice. He also moonlights as a forensic officer for the Miami police. VERY dark, very bizarre, and very good.

eta: Oh and his girlfriend is played by Julie Benz, while Drew Greenberg is a writer and producer on the show.

Oh, wow. I'd been hearing buzz about the show but didn't know what it was about. Thanks, jimi. It does sound pretty cool.

And! It is completely awesome. We had a little viewing party on Sunday night.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really liked the book, so it's cool that it's a TV show. Maybe I should get Showtime. Although I need more TV to watch like a need a hole in the head.
