Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Sometimes they recap it on KROQ, but then I have to listen to KROQ.

I think watching the show might be the lesser of those evils.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Not if it still has people taking dumps on camera.

What is even happening?

There's a poster on IMDB saying Drive won't be picked up (as in he has insider knowledge, not just guessing). Not exactly reliable, but I'm disheartened.

Jackal - I did a search on their IMDB username on Google, and found a gay personals site with the title "Men Seeking Men near Twatt".

So you're saying the motive for that post is actually just sour grapes over the whole some-gay-porn-less-gay-than-Angel vibe?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Double the ratings if David Lee Roth auditioned for his old job back.

I heard that David Lee Roth is now fronting a bluegrass Van Halen cover band.

Art Crawl!!!

From the roundtable:

I still find Lukas compelling. I mean, did you notice his guitar playing on the acoustic version of his original? Those were not actual chords he was playing. I think he even strummed the thing totally open at one point. So he's either got the fretboard skills of John Fahey or simply doesn't know how to play guitar. Either way, he totally sold that performance.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Those were not actual chords he was playing. I think he even strummed the thing totally open at one point.

I did not watch RS so I'm probably giving the guy too much credit, but there is such a thing as open tuning and it's not very complicated.
