I read that too, sumi. I'll be curious to see what they come up with for a new name.
Also, I've read the finale spoilers. I can't say that I'm shocked. Though it is further proof that I just don't get this band.

Hmmmm, I am avoiding actual spoilers but the one teaser I read said that she thought that it seemed like they made their minds up in the few minutes just after the final three performed and she found it rather surprising too.
Personally, I think that they made up their minds a long time ago. For me, there's no shockers about how the final eliminations went down.
You know who knows the answer? Tim. Why not just e him?
Will do, ta.
sumi!!!! I missed RS and only caught the last 5 minutes. So, I know who won, but can you tell me who was in the bottom 2 and who got cut first?
Not sumi but I'm told the initial bottom two was Magni and Toby and Magni was cut. Then Toby. Then Dilana.
Yes, the initial bottom 2 was Magni and Toby. Magni played "Fire", Toby "White Wedding" - they auffed Magni. Then Lukas did "Bittersweet Symphony", Dilana did "Zombie" and Toby did "Somebody Told Me". I think that they were told to play the favorite song that they performed during the show. Then they eliminated Toby, and then they picked Lukas.
Definitely not surprising. Not sure what the heck people meant. Gilbey even said that he had the most votes of everyone -- so they really weren't willing to go against that. I would think that songwriting had a part in it -- except that Gilbey offered to produce and write with Dilana on her next album and Dave offered to play on it. They had Dave invite Dilana to tour with OB:House. Dilana and Storm and the House Band. If they would only pick up a few club gigs during the tour.
Thank you! I must admit, I'm surprised. I thought they'd pick
Toby. Lukas just seemed a bit too...I don't even know what but not hard rocker dude.
I think that Toby looked to "regular" for them. . . they wanted somebody more peacocky and Lukas is certainly that.
sumi, that's a very apt description!
