I just want a cookie.
Anybody got a cookie?
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I just want a cookie.
Anybody got a cookie?
'member that show? With the song?
"C is for cookie, that's good enough for me." We can talk about that, right? Songs and cookies? Or am I lost and this is the crafts thread?
I believe that cookies are an acceptable topic in any thread. Or should be, anyway. Mmmmm. Cookies.
that discussion was wrapped up in the definition.
And it is. I have not said anything about it being a necessary condition.
Beverly, good cookie baking is a craft.
Kristen: have you read PPoD's blog yet?
Apparently he didn't know about Dilana and the press junket until he read the comments on his blog.
RS: Well that was totally expected. And I thought her version of MOTR sucked too. What I didn't expect was how much I enjoyed Toby: both on the SuperN song and singing "Plush". I liked Magni too. Next week, I'm going to have to vote for them. Well, interesting that they kind of came at the Dilana thing on more than one front. She's definitely getting the Bitch edit -- but she may very well have earned it. Also interesting that the SuperN guys didn't have much to say to her about the whole thing. Apparently, at the taping the Q&A took a very long time. And it was pretty much all about Dilana.
Okay. So, I just dove (dived?) back in and re-watched the Inside pilot.
I wasn't wrong the first time. I really, really love it.
The pilot really hits the Rebecca-is-alone theme hard. It sets the stage well for her story. I think there's a little too much in the pilot - I don't quite believe the 3-days-on-the-job-gets-the-9-months-killer thing, but I don't care much. It's a pilot; it's gotta have the spectacle.
I want to have more thoughts to say, but I don't. I'm watching the second one. I'm liking it a lot too. S&M murders.
ita's and my migraines bring all the boys to the yard.
Or at least all the strong meds.
Oh boy. Major flashbacks to The Inside from this, well, I would say story - but more like chapter in somebodies life. Hellish chapter.
