Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hope to comport myself better when I know a camera's on.

I hope.

So I hacked my tights to pieces because I really needed to get my yoghurt from the fridge.

You know, the effect of boots and a skirt is really about what happens between the top of the boots and the hem of the skirt. How much space is there? Is it continually visible, or is it dependent on the swing of the skirt? Is it covered? Opaquely? Translucently? Fishnet? Just plain bare? Can you see knee, or is it all thigh?

Short of putting on fishnets or hiking my hemline higher, I feel I'm doing as much as possible to scream "Lookit me!" Must adjust veil of fuckoff.

Re: Are we really going to bomb Iran?

So options are

1) Bluff
2) Make regular bombing look good
3) crazy enough to bomb Iran

My prediction; he's going to bomb with something because of the rally-round the flag issue to help retain a Republican majority. Nukes or regular bombs will depend which will win the most votes; actual effects on the world or the U.S. will be considered only as they affect short term personal power for the Bush adminstration, Bush cronies, and a Republican majority. It is possible that turning the rest of the world against us could get enough Americans turning to a "strong leader in an emergency" to help keep the Republicans in office not only through the midterm but even past that. Cause, ya know if our leader kills a few million people, and the rest of the world doesn't like it, a lot of USAians will feel underappreciated, and angry at how ungrateful those un-Americans are.

You know the old saying about not attributing to malice what can be explained by stupidity? Right now, I'm really, really hoping that is wrong; because another old saw doesn't apply just to angels. Fools rush in where the wicked fear to tread.

At first, I read this as suggestions to ita concerning her tights dilemna. It works semi-ok.

Hmm.

I thought "laugh it up, monkey boy" was a Buckaroo Banzai quote. But IMDB lists "Laugh-a while you can, monkey-boy." Is the quote from somewhere else, or am I mashing it up?

My legs are cold.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think you're conflating it with Han Solo's "Laugh it up, Fuzzball" to Chewie.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

You might be conflating it with "Laugh it up, fuzzball" from Empire Strikes Back.

ETA: I just knew that was going to be an x-post.
