If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think it would actually work in modern cars

Why Nerds Make Better Lovers. A truly dumb article. In case you have free dumb time as the work day stumbles towards a close.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gah. My parents are here. Well, not here in the house at the moment(they went Passover shopping with G's stepmom), but they will be staying here until Thursday morning. At least I now know that we did give them a set of keys when they were here last, as their stuff is here.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Holy sh*t, you know what this means, Wal-Mart is run my martians and they are taking over our planet. Their minions are sending secret messages to each other over the Internet by using "smilies". It's the only possible explanation.

Ann Coulter's latest book is about me: [link]

It's called Godless - the Church of Liberalism

eta:

GODLESS is the most explosive book yet from #1 New York Times bestselling author Ann Coulter. In this completely original and thoroughly controversial work, Coulter writes, “Liberals love to boast that they are not ‘religious,’ which is what one would expect to hear from the state-sanctioned religion. Of course liberalism is a religion. It has its own cosmology, its own miracles, its own beliefs in the supernatural, its own churches, its own high priests, its own saints, its own total worldview, and its own explanation of the existence of the universe. In other words, liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as ‘religion.’ ”

Um... not really.

Timelies,

Finally caught up.

Weekend went entirely too fast. Went out to dinner for a friend's birthday Friday night and spent way too much money on food I didn't like, but everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal and the birthday boy had a good time.

Did some sword drills and sparring with my cousin on Saturday afternoon. We both discovered we were incredibly rusty after not sparring all winter. It was ugly at points. Girlfriend watched and laughed at us.

Saturday evening, met up with P-C, tommyrot and P-C's friend for some bookstore browsing, Cowpurnicus admiring, dinner and Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. We ended up with a nifty little private booth at dinner, and TMLMTBGB was a lot of fun as usual, even if I applied Spring/Summer line-forming experience to winter-level weather, causing us to spend 30 more minutes standing around in the cold than we needed to. I still feel bad about that. All in all a good, but exhausting day.

Sunday, spent some quality time with the girl before heading off to game. Got home at 11 that night and crashed hard.

Was not thrilled when my alarm went off this morning, but it's been an okay day at work so far. Would still rather be out enjoying the warm weather, though.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Of course liberalism is a religion.

Does that mean I'm tax-exempt? Because it would be just in time...
