Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sometimes there are good reasons to cry.

I admit, I haven't listened to it yet.

"It sounds like a high class escort service. Women who can kick your ass and fuck like rockstars."

Does that sound like what I should be running out of thevelvetedge.com?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not should, necessarily, but it works.

Smooth healing to your dad, Spidra.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Am I just imagining that nuking another country out of the blue would effectively push the other 5.75 billion inhabitants of the planet into direct opposition of the US as a rogue nation?

Perhaps hour 26 of DeathMigraine 2006 is muddling my thinking, but I can't imagine how the neocons could spin that sort of action as warranted.

Hmm. I should work on a business plan, then.

Oh, it's just atomic war.

Sorry to hear about the migraine, Matt. And sorry to hear about your father, Spidra.

Watching NUMB3RS, I'm thinking it's much like what you'd get if you crossed S1 Veronica Mars with Earshot. And then some.

God, I'm achey and sore. Why am I getting older? It doesn't seem fair.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Matt, why are you on the side of the terrorists?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I used to know the difference automatically, but I've seen it wrong so much online that now I have to stop and think, "cause and... effect."

I started having problems with things I knew automatically after working as a proofreader. So very annoying.

Gronk.

Am sick. Have been in bed all day. Well, really, have basically been in bed for the last 24 hours, except for the time I was in the tub with the hot water.

I felt ooky when I got up Friday, but had a zillion only-I-can-do-them things on my plate at work. Felt progressively worse throughout the day, went home, collapsed, and spent the next several hours having fever dream epiphanies that made so much sense at the time. I think I almost started a new religion in my head. That was when I was in the bath.

What is even happening?

Oh Spidra, I hope your dad recovers well and quickly (and does what he should). I'm so sorry.

and spent the next several hours having fever dream epiphanies that made so much sense at the time

Heh. I hope you're feeling better soon, Plei, and that Lilly stays healthy.

I probably got this from her.

She seems okay. She's been hanging out with Paul all day, and I haven't heard any whimpers of distress from the other room or anything.

Hmm. Am going to have to request another batch of Cream of Wheat for self (all I've eaten since lunch yesterday was a bowl of CoW a few hours ago, as until this afternoon, water made me nauseated).

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think I almost started a new religion in my head. That was when I was in the bath.
Religion in a Bath! I'm for it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Spidra, I hope your dad has an easy and quick recovery.

You too, Plei.
