Well, got Boots to the vet. She's in pretty good shape for a cat her age.(She'll be 15 in September)The only concern is that she lost 3/4 lb since last year, so they took some blood for tests. She's sulking now.

I saw an interview with Dixie Chicks recently about the new release. They played some of the music in the piece. They were clearly still hurt over the whole issue but trying to go forward and put it behind them.

Insh'allah. Getting him into Thailand sounds doable; finding cat-friendly accommodation will be a bitch, but isn't impossible. It's the whole business of leaving Egypt that's going to be tricky - I don't think I can take him from Egypt to the UK, so that means flying to Bangkok from Cairo.
