Hrm...covered in purple and green and beads?

When making pot roast in a slow cooker, how important is it that you sear the meat first?
I'd sear it, if it were me. So much tastier that way.
Then again, you don't see me making pot roast very often. Too much work, what with the searing and all.
Too much work, what with the searing and all.
Slow cooker! It balances out.
The only ones I'm wearing now are the green and white glass ones the paramedic gave me, but yep, I have several bags full.
And I. Ate. THE DINNER. I shall never have dinner again.
The paramedic? Now what did you go do?!
Oh, I do love the Dinner.
Welcome back, Daisy!
I discovered that my coworker wasn't being louder than usual (which is pretty loud, in my defense). I was just in the superpowers phase of pre-migraine.
Next time I want enhanced healing powers, or at least flight.
On the upside it took hours longer to start hurting, and this time tomorrow I'll have had not only a nerve block but DELICIOUS BURGERS. Or maybe just one burger, but it will be TASTY. Also possibly LARGE.
I don't own a slow cooker, so for me it involves a cast iron dutch oven. Honestly, I am home enough hours to make one, I just can't be arsed most of the time.
No, no. No real injuries. We just met him and his partner on the corner where we were standing for a parade, got to talking and I ended up with a neck full of beads without catching anything, including these pretty glass ones.
I got a new tatoo on Tuesday morning though. That kind of hurt.
I couldn't tell you if a dutch oven is more work than a crockpot, but the crock pot (like the Foreman Grill but more so) just screams "TIMESAVER!" at me. A quick burst of "do" and then leaving the kitchen for the "cook" is perfect.
Except, of course when you a) are hungry or b) can smell the process.
How was it, DJ? And yes, please do tell us about the paramedic. Please tell us about your tattoo.
What is THE DINNER?
ita, is your pain management place in an In 'n Out?
