My favorite B&J flavor is Dublin Mudslide. So very nummy.

As long as the root beer is Barq's. The only decent-tasting root beer ever.
There's so much variety in root beers, though! It's practically half the stock at Yum, and we've sampled dozens. JZ favors Virgil's which has a bit of anise in it. I like Sprechter's best - deep flavor and very creamy. Hank's is good, Sparky's, Abita, ones flavored with molasses or honey.
IBC is quite nice, as root beers go. Although they are the ones who finally convinced me that there is such a thing as too sweet, and its name is cream soda.
I need my ass kicked so I can get down to business and take care of stuff. And yet, all I can do is goof off and plan my eveing haircut. Help! I've been possessed with the brain rays of Mister Smay!

Cashmere is my new favorite.
Kathy, I've met the editor of Astroms Verlag, and have probably met half the people they have published, too. Mediterranean archaeology (my former field) = small place.

::steers Nutty carefully across the street and towards the salon, stopping only to get a decent root beer::
You people are making me crave a root beer float. Stop it!
Actually, you're making me crave a root beer float made with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. If I had my brain today, instead of being Queen of the Insomniacs, I would remember what that's called.

Cashmere is my new favorite. She's my old favorite, and with good reason.
Well, root beer is gross. That's just crazy talk.
cream soda
Holy moley, my dad used to drink cream soda all the time. As a kid, I could drink maybe half a can. As an adult? Oh god NO!

Really? Cool! I'm just geeked out about my last name being in a publishing house name, because over here in the States, it's a damn rare name. The more I look at the Google result, the more I realize it's much less so in Sweden. There's a hockey goalie named Hardy Astrom (love that name!), and an engineer with a lot of papers to his credit who has the same first name as my dad, so seeing his name show up a lot is really startling.
