Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

my office window..

Mine too. (Different part of the city, but same general idea.)

(I'd take a picture, but the last time I did that, my co-workers teased me mercilessly.)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Won't have time to tease you when the end times come!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Now you went and got April angry.

IT STARTED IT.

So is April the new March? I'm not sure we can handle that again.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Top Ten coolest laptop cases: [link]

I just need this:

Custom-made in the designer’s craftsman style, these cases follow the design of the model case above, which is built from a mixture of oak, maple, fake leather, and brass. While this case won’t keep your computer any safer while getting from point A to point B, a customizable craftsman case offers you the option of the most uniquely styled laptop you’re going to find.

or better still:

Probably the most elegant laptop case we came across, this Wooden Briefcase, designed by Takumi Shimamura, mixes a refined Japanese cedar exterior with durability. The outer wood surface is finished with a water-repelling solution, and the edges of the case feature sturdy canvas, which is also used for the case’s handle. We really can’t think of a better way to bring together function and style in a laptop case.

And then some wood iPod cases... and then maybe a woodie....

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Doyle gave the undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl his office phone number and his government-issued cell phone number

Because he really really wanted to impress her?

ewww

I'm thinking how fun it would be to be that cop. "Yeah, we've got another one claiming to be a big shot ::checks phone number:: HOLY FUCK" ::happy cops running around, high-fiving::

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

It is sunny here (Western NY), but it snowed last night. We have had bad storms up to and including in May, so I am not surprised.

Remember my little tug of war with the theatre that I work for regarding meetings (the only reason I can't go is that there is no place to park/no one will pick me up). Yeah, they decided that there is just no way they can either a) send someone to pick me up b) change the meeting time to when parking is available c) provide parking or d) have it in a room with a telephone.

Now, my boss at my regular job is willing to work something out with me, but I am so tempted to not do it. I mean, why am I the one who is always compromising? They have not compromised one inch about the meeting!

Jeez, fine!

Hooray for peer pressure!

It's creepy how the sky keeps changing color.

You were here for that? Neat to think of Tom Scola being in my city!

Also, did we cross post about snow in May in Rochester, because that is sort of funny!
