Plus, gravity is extra-strong today, which makes it that much harder to sit up and hold my head up.

Yeah, um, sorry about the extra gravity today. Should have it fixed by tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Fashion is so going through a "worst of everything 80's" moment. It's terribly disconcerting, all drop-waisted, polka dot, off the shoulder Flashdance tops and skinny leg jeans.

Yeah, it's no good.

My favorite 80s look was the Oxford shirt with loose skinny tie and fedora hat. That's a look I wouldn't mind wearing again. Batwing sleeves and big shoulder pads, however, are a big no.

The current college fashion report: tiny little denim miniskirts, worn with flip-flops, or on rainy days like yesterday with calf-high rubber boots in zany patterns. I am not seeing leggings or 80s jeans here. But then, we are waaaay preppier than many places.

bubble.skirts.

I suppose this means I should run to old navy and buy all the slightly low rise bootcuts I can find in my size before they disappear.

But no leg warmers yet right? I mean it's not as bad as it could be. Or at least I hope there are no leg warmers, I'm not really up on fashion.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Totally leg warmers, sorry Gud.

But no leg warmers yet right?

Suddenly, life in Kansas doesn't seem that bad.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Leg warmers are already so last year. You missed a fashion cycle.

Gud, we'll probably have to wait until this fall to see if leg warmers are back. One can only hope fashionistas know that that is a step too far.
