apparently he's ranted for years it's too top heavy and that that's exactly what would happen with a hard impact
I have to point out that they've been flying them for almost forty years, and very few noses have broken off. I'm gonna give the engineers from Lockheed (not Boeing) the benefit of the doubt on this one.
sort of x-post with Tommy.
Crazy, Sophia.
I love how people can not pay attention, until they need something...
Explosionat a Tim Hortons shop in Toronto -- some device was involved.

Whoah. I hope they work something out soon.
Sophia, you are a pretty mild mannered person and not prone to flying off the handle. You responding in a completely appropriate yet ticked off manner may well be shocking enough to be effective.
Good onya.
DH has done that a couple of times , Sophia. It is effective, and rarley has to be repeated to the same person.

Hey, I said rant, didn't I? I think rants have lesser RDA for sense-making than normal conversation. That's my story, anyway.

The C-130s flew for several decades with few incidents and then had a rash of failures in an 18 month span. There was an overhaul and the problems stopped. (I had a cousin killed in one of them, my knowledge is therefore emotional and somewhat spotty). Sometimes things age badly.

I hope so. The reason we are having communications problems is because the staff and production meetings are scheduled during the work day. I could leave on my lunch hour, but I need someone to pick me up and bring me back. There are 3 people with parking right next to the theatre, the administrative assistant (who director has forbidden to pick me up because it is too disruptive to him), the director, who arrives just before the meeting and drives right by my place of employment, and the technical director. No one can pick me up-- they think I should get there on my own (except the AA, who isn't "allowed" to pick me up). I could walk, but I only get a half hour for lunch, the meeting is an hour, and it is a half hour walk. I could drive, but I am not allowed to park on-campus until after four except in one of the three spots. Which no one will give up for me to park there!
And I bet if I bring this up, I will get the 'If you had only said anything...' response.
OMG, Sophia. That is mind-boggling in its stupidity. It caused me actual physical pain to read that paragraph; I can only imagine what it's like for you to live it. You so deserve better.
