"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Matt,

she is so totally crazy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I do love a good "They call me MISTAH TIBBS" reference.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lindsey Lohan's making an ass of herself.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jealous of all of you east coaster GA watchers. It sounds like a great ep.

I'm watching the lastest ep of Convinction. JAR is shirtless on my TV right now.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I just burned out my second Braun stick blender motor. One? Maybe a fluke. Two? Shoddy frikkin' craftsmanship. I am so not buying a third from them.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

JAR is shirtless on my TV right now.

Really? And I missed this? No justice in this world, I tell ya.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I just burned out my second Braun stick blender motor.

Apologies if this was mentioned and I missed it, but TeeVee's April 1st site is, as always, brilliant. And enormous. I quite like the Star Trek entry:

In 1966, Roddenberry pitched NBC executives his vision of a science fiction television series, which he described as "Wagon Train to the stars." Executives were initally dismayed when Roddenberry showed them concept drawings of covered wagons with rocket engines, pulled by teams of oxen wearing tiny space helmets

Some of the discussion pages are also worth a look.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh god, I meant to say how funny that was. I especially liked the TAR reference here: [link]
