Thanks, Kristin! It's just all so overwhelming, and... uh... yeah, that's pretty much it. Overwhelming. And I really have to shake this habit of being afraid of criticism. It's not that I can't take it -- I even want it, in this case, I want to do better! It's that every time it comes up there's some little part of me that's waiting for them to say, "You know, you really suck at this. Maybe you ought to rethink this?"
Which is my own demon, and possibly that of being off my meds as well. They should kick in again sometime soon, and maybe things will even out.
sarameg, cruising Target today it became apparent that the upcoming fashion season is going to be painful on the eyes.
Wow, crazy ass thunderstorm here. Neat.

Long shall the
Vogue
article "Halogen Lamps - The New Black" live in infamy.

ND doesn't think it's so neat. He's stuck at O'Hare.
I don't think it's neat either. If his flight gets canceled, I won't see him until Friday, and we've already not been together since last week.
Not that I wish this on either of you, but if his flight gets cancelled I'll get to see him.
Oh man. I'm watching Spellbound, and these poor kids! Half the thing, I think,
is
that they're kids. They don't really have very big vocabularies, spelling bees aside. Kids keep getting tripped up on words that they might just know after more life experience.
Okay, that part sucks. But otherwise, yay.
The first 5 minutes of West Wing was a thing of joy.
And the last twenty seconds were sadder than sad, even though we've known this moment was coming since last December. Loved all the
last-minute campaign sex,
but was disappointed when,
after Josh's freakout over the numbers, Donna didn't talk about anything important when she went outside to calm him down. I was really hoping she would say something like, "I haven't seen you like that since you put your hand through a window," or maybe something more subtle than that, but I definitely got a stress-related PTSD moment from him in the freakout.
