Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ouch, poor Emmett! I remember that I did that as a kid, but nothing more about it, so I'm sure the long-term trauma is all yours. If that's any consolation.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

He's playing Ms. Pac-Man now so I think the trauma is over. We'll see how bad it looks tomorrow.

What really traumatized me was getting my finger stuck under the conveyer belt thing at the grocery store. I still freak out a little when people put their money down on it.

I'll spare you the story of my friend Dibble's son and the door hinge then.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I missed all of the shrift celebrating.

This makes me sad.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am making bacon for bacon and tomato sandwiches on english muffin bread. In honor of shrift. And because they are yummy beyond belief.

Though I am wondering about the TJ's tomatoes grown in Mexico now that Mexico isn't 15 miles away from me. They used to seem local...

Does that mean I am the nicest now?

Cause it might be raining toads too... Or impending birth of the antichrist.

Or at least my favorite, along with Aurelia.
