Yeah, the last brush I seriously had with studying philosophy was in college and the one thing I remember most clearly is that I rather violently though Locke was full of bullshit and Hobbes roasted him on a nice bonfire. Mind you, I don't remember enough to know why I came to that conclusion. For all I know, it could have been contrariness towards the sweet-as-pecan-pie-to-the-point-of-diabetes, optimistic mountain man of a professor.

I was a philosophy minor, but I have a shitty memory for names. I know that there are certain ways of thinking about stuff, but as for who came up with what, or when, I'm completely useless.
(But not quite as useless as I was the quarter I was taking Philosophy of Language. That course fucked me up almost worse than reading A Brief History of Time.)
