Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Your kiss is on my list.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I wasn't too sure if I should put this here or in the Fan Fiction thread, but since we were just talking about Colbert, I found this linked over at TWoP. Harry Potter and the Eagle of Truthiness--guess who's the new DADA prof? Hint--Voldemort is only number two on the Threatdown.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Watching last night's TAR, and I don't care, I just love the hippies. They're having fun and kicking ass. The only thing is, unless something really crazy happens, it's going to be between them and the frat boys down to the end. Which still gives me a team to root for and one to root against, but still.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, it's been a pretty uneven field which surprises me. At the beginning of last night's episode I was thinking that unlike the last season there really isn't a team that all the other teams seem to dislike, but now I'm thinking that actually Lake and Michelle are that team.

How could they not be? I mean, really.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

LOVE the Eagle of Truthiness!

"Well, kids," he said, "Put your wands away and close those spellbooks, and get ready to be Sorted into the House of Truth!"

The hippies are being really smart, I think -- the goofy act (which I don't think is entirely an act), plus the fact that they're just nice to everyone is making them seem like much less of a threat than they actually are, in spite of their being over an hour ahead of everyone else.

I'm hoping that MoJo will be the surprise back-of-the-pack winner. They're not the coldest beers in the Chevy, but I can't help liking them anyway. And their game-play so far has been better than their reading skills.

Has everyone been following the previous racers blog?

The entirety of Jess's second whitefont made me giggle. FYI. And I agree with the first one as well.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'd wondered about that pile of sticks in the back of Colbert's set, seriously. And now they have a use for it!

Not only am I earwormed, it keeps segueing into Private Eyes. That's not the worst part, though. The worst part is that I'm kind of enjoying it.

Heh. Good thing I'm listening to my iPod right now.

The worst part is that I'm kind of enjoying it.

Hall and Oats are... underappreciated. Or something.
