The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...an errant brake sensor (it wouldn't tell the car it was safe to come out of park, nor light the brake lights).

Good grief.

"The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."

No shit. But I did also get them to replace my windshield wipers, and DAMN. They've sucked for forever. I can see clearly now, although the rain is not gone.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But I did also get them to replace my windshield wipers, and DAMN. They've sucked for forever. I can see clearly now, although the rain is not gone.
I'll go all silver lining and say that this is a good thing.

Because the whole car not working is obviously quite the bitch to deal with already.

I should get my wipers changed. And the spray washer fluid thingie fixed. It doesn't appear that rain here is a random chance thing so much as regular thing.

An attendee has sent me a snippy email. HE IS ON THE LIST.

As long as we're making one, I'd like to put our email server ON THE LIST.

Swouncing

Well, I just had to miss an 80% solar eclipse because I was TAing right when it happened. I only saw, from the window, how the sky turned dark-blue. How come the scheduling of these events isn't done in consultant with my timetable, so that I can actually watch them?

Um, wait. Does that mean I just put the universe ON THE LIST?

Oooh, the email was wonky because of a giant attachment, which did NOT need to go to all-staff... the lady, and her email, ON THE LIST.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I only saw, from the window, how the sky turned dark-blue.

That's pretty cool anyway, though, huh?
