Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

how are your parents doing? Were they able to go back to stay in their old house? Do they still have a lot of work left to do?

They moved back into the house in January, although it was a few weeks before they had hot water and heat.

The downstairs story (storey?) now has sheet rock, and it's supposed to be completely done in about a month.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I now want oatmeal cookies with Raisenettes really badly.

This sounds like the best thing this side of anything!

The best solution I ever heard to this was a couple who held a big bride's side vs. groom's side softball game on the morning of the wedding, loser takes winner's name.

Ew. The best solution to this is that you keep your own name; he keeps his own name; the kids get both names. As it should be. Crazy Americans with no space on forms for the first last name and the second last name.

This is why I am CONSTANTLY denied chocolate macaroons. By Tom. Who is mean.

How can this marriage survive the Great Macaroon Schism!

That is to say, all you cookie discussers? you suck.

But when you are all cleansed and feeling great you can mock us for our lethargy and wheat and sugar addled minds.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I know some people who combined their last names into a whole new name, which they both then took. So Winters + Neufeld became Winterfeld.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

There's something lovely in the long moment of dead silence during a phone conversation in which the person on the other end clearly is waiting for me to offer to do his job for him, and I am waiting for him to figure out that I'm not going to.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I knew a couple that made up a completely new last name. He changed his name legally, and then she took it when they got married. The name was Hale, and it was an acronym for something, though now I don't remember what.

Always Anti-fascist!

Coconut and chocolate...yum. Oatmeal cookies? Definitely on my cookie second string. Will eat and don't really have a strong opinion on the raisin thing, but would rather have a chocolate chip or shortbread or something. Never knew anyone who put chocolate chips in, unless it was msbelle, who did send me cookies once which I liked but have forgotten what kind.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I want Samoas. Damn the lack of Girl Scouts in my life!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
