In less bad but still disappointing news, my formerly-new-favorite channel Sleuth totally let me down! They haven't run all of Homicide yet, but they went back to the beginning! They haven't showed the whole Luther Mahoney arc yet! Bah. In better news in my world, my oatmeal turned out yummy, with homemade jam (made by my aunts).

So I got thru 8 hours of tv today off my DVR, but I have 18 left on there. good lord.
oh well, that is something for this week. Now I go to bed.

Yeah, but it sucked and was a source of income. They're being pretty stingy on the severence but I've banked my vacation days so I'll cash out about a month's worth. Between that and the book advance and the unemployment I'm just going to look at is as short term grant to work on the book.
Oh yeah, income. Feh.
So, I'm watching last week's Grey's Anatomy, and there's an ad for the Nightline thing about race. Now, granted, it's a diverse cast and staff and everything, but a hospital with no Desis? Nuts. Edit: Oh sure, ruin my fun -- a guy in the next scene is south Asian.

My favorite way to pick colors so far has been the Benjamin Moore site, which allows me to try out various color schemes.
Ooo, I'll have to poke around there. I've played with Behr's site, which has a similar gadget, and a lot of reasonably helpful articles.
Matt -- Hee, and yikes! The zebra ottoman would actually look great with a friend's stuff, but I don't think she'd be very pleased about it being actual zebra skin.
I don't think I did anything remotely productive today. And now it's too late to do laundry. Oh well.
