That's so sweet! And nice to know that they care about him that much. I always get a service to pop over and feed Amarna when I go on vacation, and they always have the same reaction: "Such a nice kitty, and so talkative!" (She was meowing at me during my shower this morning, because she wanted an extra morning feeding before I left for work. Since it was my b-day, she got some of her Seafood Medley treats to chow down on. It shut her up, at least temporarily.)

That's them. They are rather fond of him. They don't remember me by name, but they do him. And such an unusual name it is.

I used Out-U-Go once, but found Critter Care to be a bit cheaper, and since it's just the owner and one assistant, I didn't have to worry about a bunch of different people coming into the apartment. Eleanor (the owner) is great and really accommodating when I called at pretty much the last minute before Thanksgiving to see if she could squeeze me into her schedule for the week.

Better than my friend's place, where she called on the day before Thanksgiving to check what time they were open until so she could bring the cats in, then arrived an hour or so before that time and found they'd closed up and gone home early. And this with one cat needing insulin and thyroid meds (which he thankfully survived the weekend without).
