Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Our wings are not tired

HIMYM tonight.

Is it just me or did the coffeehouse in the episode look like a copy of the one from Friends?

Curse you, ita. Night Detective was on Right Now so I clicked over. You know, just to see. And the dialog is charming. I can't judge the plot cause I haven't a clue what's going on, but I would watch this show. If it weren't ENDING!

Julie Benz is on tonight's CSI: Miami.

This is the second time in recent weeks she's been a guest star on something. I keep expecting her to be evil and kill someone.

I also have this issue with Christian Kane. It screws with my TV watching experience.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

woke up thinking of this Lloyd Dobbler line - "Why can't you be in a good mood? How hard is it to decide to be in a good mood and be in a good mood once in a while?"

Not to say that I am not often in good moods, but yesterday? nsm, and waking up today? nsm. And whyfor? Nothing bad has happened today. Everything frustrating yesterday is done and over with and I cannot alter any of it.

Anyway, welcome to my morning brain. Now to salute the non-existent sun.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Aw, there's a house on fire here and a dog climbed out the second story window and on to the roof. I hope they get him down.

ETA: Oh, they've got him! They're showing two firefighters up on the roof with him.

EETA: And now he's down! Good dog!

EEETA: Tune in next week for another episode of Dog Rescue Theatre.

I have my iPod back or at least a replacement. WHEE! Updating now. Hoping this doesn't make me late to work. 5 more minutes is all I can spare.

Nope, must leave it, this goes way too slow.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Yay new thread.

Buh. Why do mornings exist? Why am I forcibly ejected from my bed at the sound of the alarm? Why must golf start today?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Timelies. It's a gorgeous morning, but again with the Arctic Air (and yes, those need caps - it's that cold).

I wouldn't mind so much, but I just know we're in for the bi-weekly gale force winds today too.
