Yeah. It depends on how bad the damage is. If the frame is bent, there will be a big loss of value even after the car is fixed. If it's just a body panel and related stuff that need to be replaced, then... well I don't know - maybe a small loss of value or no loss at all.
I sold my Focus to... what's that big-ass chain of car dealerships? (eta: Carmax.) They inspected it first but never noticed that a fender had been replaced (eta: or they didn't care). They refuse to buy cars that have had the frame bent.

If you're talking about Jewish characters (not actors), yet another neurotic was the lead in Everything Is Illuminated, played by Elijah Wood.
The only non-neurotics I can think of are all TV characters, and they're quirky in their own way (Toby Ziegler and Josh Lyman on West Wing, particularly).
